Vanderbilt Health is making news for exciting new alliances to create a safer city in which to live, play and work. Yesterday the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp., in collaboration with Vanderbilt Health and Ryman Hospitality Partners, launched the Good to Go program to offer enhanced safety and best practices for Nashville-area businesses as they begin reopening. Good to Go asks Nashville-area businesses to commit to health standards from the Metro Public Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the program gives businesses access to toolkits and support to help carry out the recommendations in a way that is authentic to Music City. Vanderbilt Health’s leading infectious disease experts helped develop key elements of the program and will be involved with ongoing learning and information sharing.
The launch comes on the heels of last Thursday’s announcement of the Ryman Hospitality Properties (RHP) choosing VUMC as its wellness advisor. VUMC is providing support to RHP as it continues to refine the reopening operating procedures, plans and training materials as part of a multi-phase health safety operations strategy for its entertainment assets and Gaylord Hotels network.
