Courtney Necessary, MBA – Vice-President Strategy & Transformation, Chief of Staff, Vanderbilt Health CPPA 

Courtney started with CPPA in 2023. Having served a stint at Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Diagnostic Laboratories where she was charged with developing and leading the Office of Project Management (PMO). In that role she was responsible for leading the execution of the strategic plan to transform the Laboratories across people, culture, process, and technology, including the opening of a new 110,000 SF facility. Prior to joining VUMC, Courtney worked for Ankura with its 2018 acquisition of c3/consulting, where she had served in different roles over several years, from leading consulting engagements to building organizational capabilities within the firm.  Prior to c3/consulting, Courtney led data analytics efforts at a number of healthcare organizations, work that involved identifying correlation and causation for adverse events as well as leveraging market data for strategic planning purposes. She also served as a forensic data analyst on international investigations on behalf of the World Bank. A former professional ballet dancer, Courtney spent seven years performing principal, soloist, and corps roles and touring the world before changing careers.
