Radiology and Radiological Sciences

Crystal received her B.S in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati in 2007 and her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California at Davis in 2013. Her doctoral research focused on the development of a technology framework to quantify physical activity and physiological data and the application of these data to personalize physical activity prescriptions. Since joining the Towse lab in 2013, she has shifted her research interests to emphasize the application of noninvasive imaging techniques to investigate peripheral vascular function in healthy and clinical populations.
