Christopher P. Elder, Ph.D.

Chris received his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from The University of Georgia while working under Dr. Kevin McCully and the late Dr. Gary Dudley. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Bruce Damon in the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science before taking a few years off to attend Theological School. Chris has published peer-reviewed papers in the area of skeletal muscle physiology with an emphasis on the application of non-invasive techniques to in vivo human systems.
