Ron Jannetta, MBA
Ron Jannetta orchestrates activities related to budget, human resources, finance, and facilities. Ron is also the Administrative Officer for the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health. He has been at Vanderbilt since 1996 and worked in the Department of Finance before assuming his division role in 2001. He is an analytical and thoughtful problem-solver, and his tenure makes him a resource for various institutional questions.
Sanel Filipovic, B.B.A.
Sanel Filipovic supports administrative leadership with matters related to Human Resources. Sanel serves in an HR liaison capacity and is an ideal contact for your HR questions regarding position creation, recruitment, performance development and recognition, employee relations, and facilities. Prior to joining our team, Sanel spent five years in Vanderbilt University Human Resources where he served as HR Recruiter for multiple departments within Vanderbilt University and Medical Center. Sanel holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Belmont University.
Shanta N. Laurie, MHSA, MPA, CRA
Assistant Director for Research Administration
Shanta brings 17 years of research administration experience in both academic and healthcare settings to the Institute for Medicine and Public Health. As a Certified Research Administrator, Shanta’s expertise lies in her comprehensive knowledge of best practices in sponsored research administration; knowledge of and application of institutional policies and their impact on daily operations. Prior to joining Vanderbilt, Shanta managed grants and sponsored programs at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University.
