Bio:            

 Ashley Wilcox joined Mama Lere Hearing School in the summer of 2024. Before joining MLHS, Ashley worked as a

registered behavior technician for children with autism and as an elementary school teacher to children with trauma,

behavior difficulties, and special needs. She is currently completing a postbaccalaureate in Speech and Hearing

Sciences through the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire and plans to pursue a master's degree afterwards. In the 

Future, she hopes to study the effect of communication disorders on second language acquisition for bilingual 

learners. Born and raised in Tennessee, Ashley enjoys spending her free time exploring the outdoors through 

backpacking and camping with her family.
