Kristen Williams

Kristen Williams is a rising second year medical student at Meharry Medical College right here in Nashville. Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Kristen is following in her father’s footsteps by attending his alma mater. Kristen received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre – Design and Production from the University of Maryland, College Park, but later decided to pursue medicine. As one of the Class of 2021 Historians, Kristen codirected their Cadaver Ball video and helps to document the lives of her fellow classmates in photos and social media posts. While not studying, you may see Kristen zigzagging through Nashville as an Uber driver. Kristen identifies as a cisgender pansexual queer woman. Her passion for social justice is rooted in her education (both in the classroom and independently), support from family and friends, and a drive to right the wrongs she sees every day. Kristen is working towards becoming a plastic surgeon who performs gender affirmation procedures.
