The Vanderbilt Program for lgbtq Health seeks to create two new employee resource groups for sexual and gender minority employees at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  An employee resource group (ERG) is a voluntary, employee-led group that fosters a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with organizational mission, values, goals, business practices and objectives. One group will focus on LGBTQI employees, while the second one will focus specifically on transgender employees.

Join the Vanderbilt Program for lgbtq Health for lunch (any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.) on Tuesday, April 18 as we host Dining Out for Life at Provence Breads and Cafe in Hillsboro Village to raise money for Nashville CARES, the premier agency in Middle Tennessee helping people with HIV/AIDS.

For the fifth year in a row, Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) has been recognized as a Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality by the Human Rights Campaign Healthcare Equality Index (HEI) 2016.
