Two types of presentations are encouraged.
- Paper presentations: 15-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion.
- Research - Researchers are encouraged to present original research studies on the nature and management of cognitive, communication, and social disorders associated with traumatic brain injury (including concussion), right hemisphere damage, communication disorders related to long COVID and other acquired brain injuries. Because the intent of the conference is to foster clinical research, priority will be given to proposals that describe studies where the data has been collected and analyzed.
- Clinical practice or frameworks - Original descriptions of clinical practice, implementation/translational practice, theoretical frameworks, or other projects addressing cognitive, communication, and social disorders that did not involve human participant data collection.
- Panel presentations: 30 minutes (total) followed by 15 minutes of discussion.
- Panels should be 3-4 people, discussing a clinical or educational topic of broad interest, including but not limited to creating policy, community-based rehabilitation, and lived experiences. The panel presentations should include dynamic interactions amongst the presenters.
Proposal Submission Instructions
The body of the proposal should:
- include names and affiliations of all authors/presenters
- include a 50-word abstract that will be published in the conference program
- be a maximum of 800 words (excluding author list, learning outcomes, and references)
- be submitted as a single PDF

Clinical Practice or framework: Proposals should describe the practice, framework or project including brief rationale/background, stakeholders, results or implications, and one learning outcome.
