Deborah W. Larios provides legal assistance to the Office of Legal Affairs on a part-time basis. Her primary responsibilities involve healthcare operational issues such as informed consent, reporting requirements, privacy, complex patient care issues, contracting, and policy development.
Debbie has over 30 years of experience in health law. She was previously a partner with Waller Lansden and Miller & Martin in Nashville, as well as in-house counsel with Vanguard Health Systems and Tenet Healthcare. She is past chair of numerous healthcare law groups, including the Tennessee Bar Association’s Health Law Section, the Nashville Health Law Committee, and the AHLA work group on privacy and electronic health information. Debbie provides services to the Office of Legal Affairs through Latitude Legal.
