Imani Evans
Undergraduate Research Assistant
Imani Evans is a senior at Vanderbilt University majoring in neuroscience and minoring in English. She aspires to become a neurologist and has dreams of pursuing an MD/PhD. Imani is passionate about understanding the manifestations and origins of brain diseases and disorders, particularly those like epilepsy. Currently, she works as a research assistant in a cognitive study in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) at Vanderbilt Hospital, where she is learning from epileptic patients about how their epilepsy affects their daily lives. In her free time, she enjoys singing, reading dystopian novels, and cooking.
