Niranjana Shashikumar, MS

Niranjana Shashikumar is a Data Scientist Associate at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from VIT University, India and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 2018. While at Duke, Niranjana explored ultrasound signal and image processing, along with software development for medical devices and healthcare applications.

Niranjana is passionate about dance and is a trained Indian classical dancer. She enjoys spending her time trying new recipes, exploring nature, and watching Duke's Blue Devils during the college basketball season.
