Dr. Havidich is double boarded in pediatric and adult anesthesiology with over twenty years of clinical experience. She currently practices at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Havidich has served in various academic and leadership roles, including developing practice guidelines, chairing task forces, founding medical societies, advancing graduate medical education, conducting research, and mentoring the next generation of physician-scientists. She was awarded a full scholarship from The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, where she focused on leadership development, the science of healthcare delivery systems, and outcomes research.

Dr. Havidich’s current academic interests include advancing the quality of care and safety for surgical patients, outcomes research, international economic development projects, strategies to mitigate the emigration of health care professionals, and the science of healthcare delivery.
