Updated June 23, 2021
As we move further into the vaccination phase of the COVID-19 virus, our utmost responsibility as a healthcare system continues to be keeping our patients, employees, volunteers, and visitors safe.
Active volunteer support across the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, including Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital, The Vanderbilt Clinics, One Hundred Oaks, and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt continues to be suspended. We are not taking new volunteer applications for any program at this time. A specific reactivation date for the program has yet to be determined. When volunteer activities resume, we will adopt a phased-in approach beginning with previously trained and compliant volunteers.
Once volunteers return, there will be training that includes new Covid-19 requirements.
