As we move towards the two-year mark of the COVID-19 virus, our utmost responsibility as a healthcare system to continue to keep our patients, employees, volunteers, and visitors safe.

We are now accepting applications for limited volunteer assignments at Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital, The Vanderbilt Clinics, and Vanderbilt Health at One Hundred Oaks in specific areas with the greatest need. To review descriptions of these assignments, please click here.

The minimum commitment is fifty hours in a six-month period.

COLLEGE STUDENTS, PLEASE NOTE:  If you submit an application now, it is to take part in our long-term year-round volunteer program.  For this program, you need to be in Nashville through the summer.  Please apply in the fall upon your return to school.  PLEASE NOTE:  we will NOT be having a short-term, summer only program this year.

Every application is individually reviewed, and this process can take between 5-7 business days. Please note our next review of all new applications will begin on Monday, May 23, 2022.  We appreciate your patience as we review the applications.  Click here to apply.

Please note:  the COVID-19 vaccine is one of our mandatory immunizations.  Since volunteering can only be started two weeks after your final vaccine (2nd dose of Pfizer or Moderna, 1st dose of J&J), obtaining the vaccine as soon as possible will enable you to onboard more quickly and easily.
