Sope Adeleye is a Clinical Translational Research Coordinator Iat the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center. She graduated from Harvard University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience with a secondary in Global Health and Health Policy. While at Harvard, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant under Dr. Tracy Young-Pearse in the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Disease at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her research focused on using induced pluripotent stem cells to examine early endosomal and lysosomal characteristics in late onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
Sope is excited to work at VMAC before pursing a career in medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and listening to podcasts as well as playing recreational sports and singing.
