Research Topic: Community-driven neonatal sepsis strategy development in Ethiopia: magnifying the voice of communities in health system strategies
Ms. Ku will spend her fellowship year at the Amhara Public Health Institute in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia under the mentorship of John Cranmer, DNP, MPH, ANP and Abebe Gobezayehu, MD. Her research will focus on community-driven neonatal sepsis strategy development in Ethiopia.
Ms. Ku worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa and as a Global Impact Fellow for Unite for Sight in Ghana, in addition to her U.S.-based research in neuroscience. This Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowship will further position her for success as a global physician researcher.
