Emily is the Sr Program Manager for Vanderbilt Center for Clinical Cardiovascular Outcomes REsearch and Trials Evaluation (V-CREATE). She works closely with the Director, faculty, and personnel to manage the Center's grant applications, finances and contracting, collaborations, and project start-up. 

Prior to starting at Vanderbilt in 2016, Emily worked with school districts in Colorado to implement strategies to decrease risk behaviors in disadvantaged students. Emily earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology in 2011 from the University of Georgia where she worked as part of a cancer research team. Emily led projects including a quality control audit of an electronic medical record system for a cervical cancer clinic, CerviCusco, in Cusco, Peru. Emily also completed a fellowship with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Center for Cancer Prevention and Control focused on epidemiology and applied research.
