Erin Cooke, MD, is an honors graduate of Wake Forest University and earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle and a MRI fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. Following training, she served as a staff radiologist with Ochsner and subsequently six years on faculty at Virginia Mason Medical Center, where she was head of the Neuroradiology section from 2015 to 2017 and Co-Program Director of the radiology residency from 2017 to 2020.
Dr. Cooke joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2020 as an Associate Professor. Interests include quality improvement, mentoring, diversity in radiology, and the arts. She is a member of the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiological Society of North American, Association of University Radiologists and American Association of Women Radiologists. She also serves on committees for the American Board of Radiology, American Association of Women Radiologists and the Association of Program Directors in Radiology.
