Christien Kluwe, MD, PhD

      “Dr. Kluwe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology.  Dr. Kluwe completed his combined MD and PhD training in the University of Texas system.  He then completed his residency in radiation oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, participating in the Holman Research Pathway where he received an ASTRO seed grant to investigate the interaction of radiation therapy and metabolism in lung cancers.  Upon graduation he transitioned to faculty where he specializes in the treatment of genitourinary and lung cancers.  He continues his research in lung cancer metabolism and applications for adaptive radiotherapy utilizing the Ethos platform.”
