Scheduling a Phone Assessment:

If this is an emergency: Please do not use this tool  as it is not an emergency response system, but go straight to your nearest Emergency Room.
If this is an urgent crisis: Visit Crisis Care Counseling during our crisis care hours or call the after hours line at (615) 322-2571.

After you complete Step 1 and Step 2, the phone assessment will be conducted by a PCC clinician. This assessment can take up to 20 minutes to complete. The clinician will review the information you have provided and will ask additional questions to better clarify your treatment or other support needs. Depending upon your needs, the clinician may schedule you for an appointment with a PCC provider, refer you to appropriate campus resources, including the Student Health Center and the Center for Student Wellbeing, or provide you with community referral options.

This service is for current Vanderbilt students, who are seeking mental health resources and support, or who have not been seen by a PCC provider in over a year. If you are already being seen by a PCC clinician, please continue to schedule appointments with your existing therapist or med provider.

UCC Transition Update

To facilitate the continuity of care for students currently receiving services at the PCC and who are expected to continue to receive services at the new UCC, VUMC has begun copying some student data and records from the PCC to transfer to the new UCC. Due to this data transfer, the PCC/UCC will put all scheduled phone assessments and other appointments (individual and group psychotherapy, AOD consults, medication consults and follow-ups, etc.) on hold until Monday July 9th.

Please note that the Bookafy scheduling portal will become inactive as of June 22. Students will be able to access the new system’s online scheduling during the week of July 2nd.

The center will hold crisis care and limited drop-in hours during the weeks of June 25th and July 2nd.

We are thankful for your understanding.
