Anne O'Duffy, MD
Dr. O’Duffy earned her B.A. from Brown University in 1983, graduating with honors. She received her medical degree from University College – Dublin in Ireland in 1989 and became an intern in Internal Medicine at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. in 1989. From 1990 – 1993, O’Duffy served as a resident in Neurology at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine and became an instructor of Neurology at the University of California – San Francisco in 1994. She became assistant clinical professor of Neurology in 1996.
O’Duffy joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2001 as assistant professor of Neurology, a position she continues to hold. Board certified in neurology, O’Duffy is an attending physician in Stroke and General Neurology at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Anne O’Duffy is currently Associate Professor of Neurology specializing in stroke at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She joined the faculty at VUMC in 2001. Board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology, Dr. O’Duffy is an attending physician in Stroke and General Neurology at Vanderbilt.

Dr. O’Duffy’s research interests focus on the diagnosis, management, and prevention of cerebrovascular disease, as well as stroke in women.
