Dr. Gentry is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Nashville, TN. He also holds an adjunct faculty position at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and is a Health Policy Associate at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation for Health Policy at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Gentry received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy. He then went on to complete a specialty residency in Primary Care through the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and the Holston Medical Group in Kingsport, TN. He holds Board Certification in Ambulatory Care (BCACP) and is a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE). Dr. Gentry has served in multiple interprofessional clinical roles in the ambulatory care setting throughout his career. Currently he is leading pharmacy practice activities at a community-based clinic operated by Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
