Medical Grand Rounds presents 'Immune Therapy in Cancer'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. Medical Grand Rounds, presented by the Department of Internal Medicine, resumes May 4 at 12:15 p.m. with "Immune Therapy in Cancer." Phillip E. Lammers, M.D., M.S., MSCI is the featured speaker. Lammers is Assistant Professor of Hematology and Oncology Medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine. The lecture will be held at the S.S. Kresge Learning Resource Center, Lecture Hall 1.  

Medical Grand Rounds presents 'Non Pharmalogic approaches to Atrial Fibrillation Management'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. On Wednesday, April 27, Medical Grand Rounds will present "Non Pharmalogic approaches to Atrial Fibrillation Management" with Christopher R. Ellis, M.D., FACC, FHRS as the featured speaker. Ellis is Director and Associate Professor of the Cardiac Electrophysiology and LAA Closure Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The S.S. Kresge Learning Resource Center, Lecture Hall 1, will host the event.

On Wednesday, April 20, the Department of Internal Medicine once again presents Medical Grand Rounds, with “The Management and Treatment of Patients with Polycythemia Vera (PV).” Naval Gustad Daver, MD is the featured speaker. Daver is an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center's Division of Cancer Medicine, Department of Leukemia in Houston. The lecture will be held at the S. S. Kresge Learning Resource Center in Lecture Hall 1 at 12:10 p.m.
