NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Science of Song, the annual symposium hosted by the Program for Music, Mind & Society at Vanderbilt, will take place on Monday, Sept. 12, at the Blair School of Music from 2 - 8 p.m. The program welcomes students, faculty and staff to attend the event.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Meharry-Vanderbilt Community engaged Research Core invites proposals for activities that promote on-going, mutually beneficial, health-oriented research partnerships between community organizations and academic researchers. Both academic and community partners are expected to contribute to the development of the proposal. Applicants may propose a community-engaged research project or a capacity building project that enable the partners to pursue an identified research agenda.

The Tennessee Sickle Cell Disease Network seeks to engage sickle cell disease community stakeholders in Patient Centered Outcomes Research as an essential mechanism for advancing care and meaningful research for this rare disease population. Initial engagement phases and findings of a statewide research and engagement program will be discussed.
