NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Vanderbilt Scholars in HIV and Heart, Lung, Blood and Sleep Research (V-SCHOLARS) website is now up and running. The program provides two years of support for mentored research, using a unique dual-mentor structure – one mentor from the HIV/immunology field and one from a HLBS field – and is open to junior MDs and PhDs from Vanderbilt University Medical Center or Meharry Medical College.
