'Factors Affecting Hypertension Control' scheduled Jan. 25

NASHVILLE, Tenn. On Wednesday, Jan. 25, the Department of Internal Medicine presents Medical Grand Rounds, with Ayodeji A. Oso, MD, FACP presenting "Factors Affecting Hypertension Control."

Oso is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Director of the Pamela Williams Clinical Skills Center and Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine. He will begin his presentation at 12:10 pm at the S.S. Kresge Learning Resource Center, Lecture Hall 3.

  • Discuss the epidemiology of hypertension
  • Discuss current hypertension treatment guidelines
  • Describe the factors affecting blood pressure control
  • Define strategies for better management
  • Explain our study of hypertension control in our NGH clinic
