Summer Research Lunch & Learn Series continues with 'Where to Start When Designing a Quantitative Research Project?'

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance continued its celebration of 20 years of community partnership in research on June 19, 2019, with the second session of the Summer Research Lunch & Learn Series, this time with Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Assistant Professor Mario Davidson, PhD.

 

‘Where to Start’

Davidson, who works in the Department of Biostatistics, asked the question “Where to Start When Designing a Quantitative Research Project?”

“Ask important questions and raise issues to consider when creating a research project,” he told a packed room of researchers and clinicians. “Understand how a biostatistician can help your research.”

The session was a highly interactive question and answer session, allowing everyone present to contribute ideas and perspectives.
