Community Research Partners holding works-in-progress meeting July 10

NASHVILLE, Tenn. The Community Research Partners' will hold a works-in-progress meeting July 10 at 8:30 a.m. featuring a Community Engaged Research Core (CERC) mini grant-funded project, Pharmacist-Directed Intervention to Improve Diabetes Outcomes in High-Risk Patients.

This project examines the association between a pharmacist intervention and diabetes-related health outcomes in a community clinic population with poorly controlled diabetes. The presenters -- Consuelo Wilkins MD, Executive Director, Meharry- Vanderbilt Alliance; Jeannine Skinner PhD, Senior Research Associate, Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance; and Rebecca Hopper PharmD, St Thomas Family Health Center West -- will share preliminary data and lead a discussion on implications for practice.
