Carleigh Frazier, MPH

Community Health Manager
Office of Health Equity
Carleigh serves as a Community Health Coordinator with the Office of Health Equity. She hails from the mid-west and calls Topeka, Kansas home. She is an alumna of Fisk University, and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where she earned her Master of Public Health. During her initial training as a biologist, Carleigh focused on precision medicine, pharmacology, and genomics with investigators at Fisk, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and Mayo Clinic. Emerging interest in bridging the gaps between diverse communities and novel research led Carleigh to work on multiple projects with the Meharry-Vanderbilt Alliance Community Engaged Research Core, and Departments of Health Policy, and Radiology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In her role with the Office of Health Equity she coordinates various projects and initiatives focused on health equity and the Community Health Needs Assessment. Outside of work Carleigh serves on the Diversity Committee for the MPH program, and the Project Transformation Community Connect Team for Madison, TN. She also enjoys quality time with family, reading, exploring Nashville’s food scene, traveling, and watching her husband perform on music stages across the city.
