Other OHE Initiatives
The Office of Health Equity (OHE) drives a systematic and strategic approach to health equity initiatives throughout VUMC by working effectively across various disciplines and entities. Specifically, OHE focuses on education, community and population health, and research.
OHE also enhances the coordination of health equity-related initiatives happening throughout VUMC. The following are some of the cross-cutting initiatives that OHE supports:
Health Equity Innovation Awards
The Health Equity Innovation Awards support innovative ideas and solutions to advance health equity. The awards are built upon the principle that there are assets, opportunities and innovative ideas within VUMC and in our communities that can advance health equity.
