Service Delivery Teams of Human Resources

The Service Delivery Teams of Human Resources provide consultation and advice to management and staff on employment issues. They will assist in the interpretation of policies, the investigation of policy violations, and the resolution of complaints or grievances.

The Service Delivery Team is committed to contributing to a positive and productive work environment by providing services that address staff needs and foster staff satisfaction. Some of these services include: coordinating the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other leaves of absence; assuring adherence to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); providing review and consistency for Vanderbilt policies and practices; and mediating conflicts. The Service Delivery Team is available to train managers, supervisors, and staff on all policy-related matters. Important forms and information on HR Policies for managers and for employees can be found on the Vanderbilt University Human Resources and the Vanderbilt University Medical Center Human Resources websites.

Service Delivery Teams offer a single point-of-contact who assists staff, faculty, and managers on key human resources needs. To gain a deep knowledge of customer needs and operations, each team serves a dedicated department group. Service Delivery Teams are led by a senior human resources consultant and include human resources consultants, recruiters, and a coordinator.
