VUMC began blocking additional categories of websites from being accessed from VUMC data networks and the VPN (virtual private network) on April 21, 2021. These categories of websites and services are unrelated to VUMC’s missions of patient care, research, and education services.

- Vudu
- DIRECTV
Note: YouTube, Vimeo, news, and other educational and/or informational sites will not be blocked, nor will streaming audio services.
If you attempt to view a blocked website, a pop-up screen will appear. If you have a valid business reason for continuing to view a particular website, please submit the Pegasus Request via the link included in the pop-up screen.
