Gabriela is a staff scientist in the Crowe Lab. Gabriela recently earned her PhD from the department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology at Vanderbilt University. Her thesis work revolved around the isolation and characterization of human monoclonal antibodies to noroviruses, the leading viral cause of acute gastroenteritis in humans. She now leads the human antibody discovery program for several infectious diseases. She designs research strategies to determine the prophylactic and therapeutic potential of pathogen specific human monoclonal antibodies.
