Barb Haseltine

Barb Haseltine is the Grants Manager of the VVC. She has over 14 years of experience working in research administration. She most recently worked at Vanderbilt University as the Senior Grants Manager in the College of Arts & Science. At VU, she worked closely with faculty to develop and maintain budgets, submitted proposals and updated effort allocation. In addition to Pre and Post award duties, she was also responsible for leading and training new grant managers in best practice procedures. 

Barb joins the VVC in November 2021 where her role includes assisting faculty in preparing and assembling grant proposals/contracts in compliance with sponsor guidelines. She interacts with other departments and agencies to facilitate the development, submission, and administration of grant proposals. Independently, she manages budget responsibilities for Pre and Post award grants along with monitoring terms and agreements of grant awards for compliance.
