Vanderbilt Integrated Services for the Treatment of Addiction

The Mission of  VISTA is threefold:

1) Person-centered care: We help patients achieve their full recovery potential by approaching addiction as a chronic brain disease; meeting them where they are at motivationally; and providing comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and multidisciplinary treatment planning.

2) Education: We provide a learning environment for trainees at all levels to develop awareness of unconscious bias/stigma and to improve their knowledge and skills in the care of people living with addiction.

3) Research: We provide the foundation for cutting edge clinical addiction research.
